Nutritional Guidance
Initial Session: Health History and Assessment (1.5 hours with client - 30 minutes assessment to create deliverables [root causes and nutrition plan])
Why are you here asking for help? What made you decide that you wanted to make some changes to your health? Before you start working with Rebecca Lane, she will need you to track everything that you eat for 5 days. But wait, not only does she want to know what you ate, but how did it made you feel! Keep track of your mood, energy level, stomach gas, bowel movements, urination – write it down and bring it to your first meeting.
To summarize, in your first session, you will tell Rebecca:
And in return, she will provide:
- Quick hit benefit – first steps to reaching your goals (Rebecca prefers to work in small manageable steps rather than handing out massive diet plans. In her experience if we work in small steps they become healthy habits quickly.)
- Changing your food culture – you can’t change the way you feel until you change the way you look at how, why and what you feed yourself. She can suggest changes to the foods you eat, but until you change how you think about food those changes aren’t going to last.
- A new recipe to try – it will probably use a food that you haven’t eaten before. It will be chosen based on what you need most to change.
Cost: $140.00
Second Session: Nutritional Goal Outline (1 hour)
To your second session, you will bring:
- 7-day tracking exercise (complete before session – click here for tracking form for one day)
- Journal entry about your food culture and your thoughts about food. Tell Rebecca the role that food plays in your life today. What do you hunger for? – write it any way you want, any length, but be honest with yourself.
- Your food preparation routine – do you do all the cooking for your entire family? Is it done for you? Do you eat out frequently? How much time do you have during the day, week to put aside for food lifestyle changes?
And in return, she will provide:
- Big picture suggestions – analysis of possible root causes for your health concerns or challenges, and goals for long-term nutritional planning
- Food culture wheel – our happiness, energy, health, confidence and success is largely dictated by the way we handle food, stress, and toxins (emotional and environmental). We’ll analyse where you are today and look at realistic suggestions for improvement.
- Quick hit benefit – another small change that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine – and we will discuss how to fit food preparation into your lifestyle
- Changing your food culture – discussion of possible food changes based on your journal entry. How is food affecting you and being affected by other things in your life? Why do you make the food choices that you do? How can you nourish yourself best?
- A new recipe to try – Rebecca's got lots of ideas to share! She's not big on cakes and muffins, but can teach you how to make delicious salads, dips, smoothies and cook vegetables in many ways.
Cost: $70.00
